THE CIRCULAR MACHINERY is part of the ongoing project Res Materia. It proposes a more direct and personalized form of production than the fashion industry standards. The installation gives a future perspective on a sustainable and embodied recreation of garments. The re-creation process is like a ritual of destruction and creation, directly involving the wearer.

The project searches for an alternative on preserving the identity of the wearer in highly branded times. Garments become agents for change, instead representing the new.
